Who we are
Inviteroll ("we") provides digital invitations, RSVPs and shared event photo walls at inviteroll.com and in the Inviteroll iOS app. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
Hosts: name, email address and a password (stored only as a salted hash); the events you create (title, date, place, message, cover image, settings); and, if you use them, budget, expense and to-do entries.
Guests: the name, phone number and party size a host enters for you, or the name you enter on an open RSVP link; your RSVP answer and note; and the photos you choose to upload.
Photos are re-encoded on upload. Location (GPS) and other embedded metadata are removed. Files are served only through signed links that expire.
Technical data: IP addresses are used briefly to limit abusive traffic and to let our payment provider show prices in your currency. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
How we use it
Only to run the service: show invitations, collect RSVPs, display photos to the people the host allows, produce the recap image, process purchases, answer support requests and handle reports of inappropriate content. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
Who can see what
An invitation is visible to anyone who has its link. Guests see the photos the host allows (the whole gallery or only their own). Budget, expenses, to-dos and guest phone numbers are visible only to the host.
When a host sends an invitation through WhatsApp, the message is sent by the host's own WhatsApp app; we do not send messages on anyone's behalf.
Service providers
Hetzner Online (servers in the EU) hosts the service and stores the data. Cloudflare provides DNS, network protection and email forwarding. Polar processes web payments as the merchant of record; Apple processes purchases made in the iOS app. These providers receive only what they need for their task. We never receive your full card details.
Cookies and local storage
We use one cookie to remember your language, and the browser's local storage to keep you signed in. Guests' personal links work without cookies.
Retention and deletion
Hosts can delete guests, photos and events at any time, and can delete their account from the account menu on the web or in Settings in the iOS app. When an account is deleted, its name, email address and password, and its guests' names, phone numbers and notes are erased immediately; its events and photos are removed from the service at once and can no longer be opened by anyone.
Guests can delete their own photos from the invitation page, or ask the host or us to remove their details.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or Türkiye's KVKK) you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, or object to its processing. Write to [email protected]; we reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Inviteroll is not directed at children under 13, and hosts must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where they live).
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above.
